Usui Reiki Healing
The practice of Usui Reiki is an original method developed by Mikao Usui in Japan in the early 20th century.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei means Gods Wisdom or The Higher Power and Ki means Life Force Energy. Eastern medicine has always recognised and worked with this energy, which flows through all living things and is vital to well being. The energy is known as Ki in Japan, Chi in China and Prana in India. Acupuncture, Accupressure, Tai Chi, Chi Gung and Yoga are all based on this free flow of this energy in a person
What Reiki Is
Reiki is a natural healing energy activated by intention. It is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and natural relaxation. It works on every level, physical, psychological and spiritual. It promotes the body's regenerative self - healing ability.
Reiki is a simple and natural method of spiritual healing and self improvement. It has been used in helping virtually every known malady and it combines very well with other complementary therapies including reflexology and massage. It also combines safely with orthodox medical care, particularly post operatively when it may accelerate the healing process.
